ORIGIN

In the lap of a small village named Ghodhavadar in Rajkot district of Gujarat state in India exists the serene and calm Anand Ashram along with a Goshaala of 82 Gir Cows. Dr. Niranjan Vallabhbhai Rajyaguru, a promoter of Indian Vedic realities, folk art, literature and music, dwells in this ashram looking after all the activities in the premises along with his family. The story of Surabhika began due to his ardent desire and love towards the Vedas and Indian tradition.

A generous activity of helping an ESRD patient to earn his livelihood coincided with the natural and profitable utilisation of Gir Cow’s dung from the Goshaala of Anand Ashram. Hariom Rajyaguru ,Bhargav Rajyaguru, the son of Dr. Niranjan Vallabhbhai Rajyaguru, and Jayraj Kathiya brought out the idea of making agarbatti out of cow dung along with the combination of herbs. Ayurveda describes cow dung as – germicidal, nourishing, giving brightness to body, destroyer of bad smell, absorber, increasing intelligence, moisturizer, and supremely pure and holy. It has transcendental property of curing skin diseases and reducing toxins of blood. It makes body lustrous. The founders recognised these qualities and the medicinal herbs amalgamated with Gir panchgavya to produce natural fragrance emitting incense sticks in the name of Surabhika in 2007.

Research & Development

The first seven years were spent on tremendous research to make the product successful. The machines, fully automatic and semi automatic, with good capacity, were also made by themselves. Today, the company is able to make 100kg Agarbatti Production, 2000kg Dhoop Sticks and 50000 Tikki (Cake) Productions per 8 hours of a day. The innovative brains of the brothers brought out progressive means for the success of the brand.

Environment

The world is facing the grievous issue of environmental degradation. Day by day the world becomes unpleasant to stay. Surbhika is the manufacturing unit famous for bamboo less products. Mainly makes its products from cow dung and natural fragrance emitting components. No charcoal and no pollution. The surrounding is enriched by the lush green farm land that provides chemical less food for humans and animals. We play our role to maintain the ecological balance from our side. A popular momentum is gained by our environmental protection activities like Tree Plantation Movement, Trying to substitute to Plastics etc.

Cow Breeding

Original Gir cows are bred in this goshaala. Their milk is used to be distributed in the surrounding at a very lower price than in the market. It helps people eat healthier – Cattle are naturally lean and healthy animals that give us the protein we need to stay strong and active throughout our lives.Cattle farming helps the economy by providing jobs for people who work on farms. Cattle farming helps to enrich the soil when they fertilize it with their manure, which adds valuable nutrients to the soil. Surabhika fulfills the demand for bringing up the best quality Gir cows.
